This is a great package deal for the money. The add says factory mounted scope. Be sure your check the rings because they were so loose, that the scope would have fallen off after 1 or 2 shots. after rings were tightened to the scope and bases, it only took a couple shots to zero in and shot a 1″ three shot group at 100 yards with cheap Winchester ammo 150 grains. Great gun and scope package, very light and accurate and perfect for basic hunting rifle. The only thing I do not like, but can live with is that the bolt is not polished smooth, so it kind of makes a zipping noise when you work the bolt. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great deal on a light hunting rifle.

Nice rifle. I would have felt guilty resting a loaner rifle’s barrel on a branch which might scuff up the bluing. If I owned it that would be different.
