Anytime Browning puts the Medallion label on one of their products, you know to expect the very best semi-auto pistol, and that’s certainly true of the Black Label ProBuy 1911 Semi-Auto Pistol. But don’t let the beautiful fit and finish distract you from seeing the workhorse beneath, because this is one rugged and reliable firearm. Based on the iconic 1911 design, this single action semi-automatic pistol features a blackened stainless steel slide with polished flats and checkered rosewood grips, along with fixed night sights.

Chris –
After shooting many other guns, this gun is one of the most accurate and best looking guns that I have used. Like many 1911s, as long as you maintain it and clean it, it is very reliable and pleasing to look at. If you’re looking for a nice 1911 that uses 380 auto, this is the right gun for you!
Horse Rider –
It is not hunting, shooting and outdoor gear like the traditional Browning line. It is specialized gear for those of us who really like tactical gear: the look, feel and function.
Rifle King –
This is such a phenomenal firearm. A genius concept in every way.
1.) Polymer frame allowed the gun to weigh only 16-17 ounces! Great for carry! The Llama Micromax couldn’t do that at 20-21oz.
2.) They kept the barrel long enough to burn out the 380 powder and give the round some velocity unlike the 2.7 inch P238.
3.) They made it AMBI for us lefties. The RIA babyrock doesn’t offer that.
This is 95% perfect firearm. The only setbacks for me is they’re charging $6-700. Should be $400-500max. And they only have 1 magazine. Should offer two at least; especially at that price.
Still in my top 3 favorite handguns to shoot and carry. #1 is the Bersa BP9cc. Try it if you’ve never shot one!
